In February 2025, cross-border RMB settlements under the current account totaled 1.18 trillion yuan, comprising 0.93 trillion yuan for goods trade, 0.25 trillion yuan for services trade, and other current account items. Cross-border RMB settlements for direct investment reached 0.57 trillion yuan, including 0.21 trillion yuan for outward direct investment and 0.36 trillion yuan for inward direct investment.
