    Wu Qing, Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, announced at the 2025 Financial Street Forum Annual Conference on October 27 that the “Optimization Plan for the Qualified Foreign Investor System” was officially launched that day. The plan includes streamlining access management, enhancing investment operational efficiency, and expanding investment scopes, aiming to provide a more transparent, convenient, and efficient institutional environment for all types of foreign investors. Two key measures—integrating qualification approval and account opening into a “single, efficient process” and implementing a green channel for access to allocation-based foreign capital—will take effect immediately.
