Chinese Premier Li Qiang Meets U.S. Business Delegation Accompanying President Trump's China Visit

On the afternoon of May 14, Premier Li Qiang met with U.S. business leaders accompanying President Donald Trump on his state visit to China at the Great Hall of the People. Representatives from Apple, NVIDIA, Meta, Cargill, Tesla, Boeing, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, GE Aerospace, Qualcomm, Visa, Micron Technology, and other major U.S. corporations attended the meeting.

Premier Li stated that China welcomes U.S. companies to expand their investment and business operations in China, and that China will continue to create a market-oriented, rule-of-law, and internationalised business environment. He emphasised that mutual benefit and win-win cooperation remain the foundation of Sino-U.S. economic and trade relations, and hoped that U.S. enterprises would play a constructive role in promoting healthy and stable development of bilateral ties.

Business leaders expressed that they hope to see stable Sino-U.S. relations and are committed to deepening cooperation with Chinese partners. They conveyed confidence in the Chinese market and stated their intention to continue investing and expanding their presence in China.
