New "Miaoxiang" Investment Research Assistant Now Available for Immediate Trial

On April 20, Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), presided over a symposium with private enterprises, engaging in in-depth discussions with executives from companies including Hailiang Group, XPeng Group, Wanyang Group, Tianqi Lithium, and Luthai Textile, representing sectors such as metal materials, new energy vehicles, industrial park services, mineral resources, and textiles. The meeting focused on listening to firsthand opinions and suggestions regarding the current economic situation and strategies to proactively address complex external environmental changes.

During the symposium, enterprise leaders shared candid and direct insights based on their operational realities and industry trends. They generally acknowledged that, despite a complex and challenging external environment and significantly increased uncertainties in business operations, the state has promptly introduced a series of policies to stabilize growth and promote development. Enterprises have also actively adopted responsive measures, resulting in stable operations and strong innovation momentum. Participants expressed confidence in further consolidating their competitive advantages moving forward. Additionally, they offered practical and constructive policy recommendations on expanding effective demand, optimizing industrial park management, accelerating the development of application scenarios in open artificial intelligence and low-altitude economy, improving import and export management policies, rationally guiding overseas expansion, and supporting enterprises in building international brands.

Director Zheng Shanjie attentively listened to each executive’s remarks, engaged in cordial and interactive exchanges, and responded to concerns individually. He emphasized that, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, all sectors have responded calmly and proactively, achieving steady progress in major economic indicators during the first quarter of the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and ensuring a stable and positive start to the economy—a outcome closely tied to the diligent efforts and relentless drive of private enterprises. Enterprises are the most direct and authentic感受ers of macro policy implementation, and their feedback is highly valuable and meaningful for refining policy formulation and planning. The NDRC will systematically categorize and analyze these suggestions in collaboration with relevant departments. He urged private enterprises to further strengthen development confidence, seize growth opportunities, and leverage their own stability to counter external uncertainties. Moving forward, the NDRC will, in accordance with decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, effectively enhance the efficacy of macro policies, actively expand domestic effective demand, accelerate the cultivation and growth of new growth drivers, promote standardized development of industrial parks, further strengthen the resilience of industrial and supply chains, and continuously consolidate the momentum of steady and improving economic performance. At the same time, the Commission will deepen regular government-enterprise communication mechanisms, fully leverage its coordinating role, and adopt a combination of targeted and broad-based approaches to help enterprises overcome difficulties, thereby continuously promoting the healthy and high-quality development of the private economy.

Vice Director of the NDRC Shen Zhuling, along with principal officials from the General Office, Comprehensive Department, Private Economy Bureau, and Foreign Investment Department, attended the meeting.
