At the end of January 2025, the balance of broad money supply (M2) was 318.52 trillion yuan, up by 7% year-on-year. The balance of narrow money supply (M1) was 112.45 trillion yuan, up by 0.4% year-on-year. The balance of cash in circulation (M0) was 14.23 trillion yuan, up by 17.2% year-on-year. Net cash injection for the month was 1.41 trillion yuan.
