The weighted average interest rate for interbank RMB loans in the interbank market for July 2025 was 1.45%

    In July 2025, the interbank RMB market recorded a total transaction volume of 222.44 trillion yuan through interbank lending, outright bond trading, and repo transactions, with an average daily volume of 9.67 trillion yuan. The average daily transaction volume increased by 14.8% year-on-year. Specifically, the average daily volume of interbank lending rose by 3.1% year-on-year, the average daily volume of outright bond trading increased by 2.8% year-on-year, and the average daily volume of pledged repo transactions grew by 18.6% year-on-year.
