On June 1, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) set the central parity rate of the renminbi against the US dollar at 6.8167, up 9 basis points. The CFETS RMB exchange rate index stood at 100.66 as of May 29, rising 0.19% week-on-week.
The following mid-point rates were announced by China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) as authorized by the PBOC: 1 USD = 6.8167 CNY; 1 EUR = 7.9122 CNY; 100 JPY = 4.2656 CNY; 1 HKD = 0.86986 CNY; 1 GBP = 9.1339 CNY; 1 AUD = 4.8759 CNY; 1 NZD = 4.0589 CNY; 1 SGD = 5.3197 CNY; 1 CHF = 8.6922 CNY; 1 CAD = 4.9188 CNY.
